There’s No Such Thing
as a Bad Question
Are reservations required?
Reservations are strongly encouraged. Parlor Room and Garden Patio tables are always first come, first served.
Can you accommodate large parties?
For groups of 9-80, we offer multi-course family style or pre-fixed options. To inquire for availability, please email events@theoakroomnh.com or call (603) 873-4833 to get in touch with a member of our team.
We are also happy to host your special event, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, celebratory brunch, holiday parties, celebrations of life, business meetings, and other large gatherings. If that’s what you’ve got in mind, please complete our inquiry form.
What do I wear to The Oak Room?
While there is no formal dress code, we encourage our guests to express their style and arrive looking good and feeling good! Collars and closed toed shoes for gentlemen are encouraged, but we will always take our guests as they are. The Parlor Room and Garden Patio are always best enjoyed however you feel most comfortable, whether dressing up for a Saturday night or coming off the water from a boat lap around Pleasant Lake.
Are Dogs Allowed?
We love dogs, but not everyone loves dogs as much as we do, and it’s important to us that all our guests feel comfortable here at The Oak Room. That said, while we do not allow dogs inside our restaurant, we do allow them at our outdoor dining tables. Dogs must be leashed and able to respect the peaceful enjoyment of our tranquil surroundings by all.
Is there a kids menu?
We do offer a kid’s menu; you can find it on our menu page. And while we do believe that kids should have the opportunity to eat a nutritious meal, you will find that Chef Dylan has struck a nice balance between “eat your veggies” and “please enjoy.”
Would you recommend The Oak Room for a quiet evening out?
The Oak Room is all about enjoying the important things in life. Great food, beautiful surroundings, nurturing care, and lively conversation with friends and family. While we strive to always create a lively and jovial setting for our guests, we’re more of a grown-up good time. If you are seeking a more energetic environment, our sister restaurant, The Elms Restaurant & Bar, may be just the vibe you seek. At The Elms, the music is a little more prominent, the bar scene livelier, the energy, contagious.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Your comfort and enjoyment are our top priority. As such, our menu is notated for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose free dining and we have available options that suit those needs. Should you have any other dietary concerns of any sort, please let your server know so that they can consult with Chef Dylan. The Chef is always happy to do anything within the kitchen’s capabilities to accommodate special requests.
